Description : The unique hydrophobic nature of this coating allows water to simply roll minimizing wear by abrasion through its encapsulated blend of lubricating and abrasion resistant fillers. When applied to fluid flow equipment, this product can reduce power consumption, increase efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and improve hydrodynamic performance. Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide) is suitable for contact with potable water as it is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 Applications include: Enhancing performance of centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps Protecting pump volutes and impellers from erosion and corrosion Internal pipe coatings to increase fluid flow Long-term corrosion protection of tube sheets heat exchangers, water boxes and water tanks Reducing material hang-up in chutes and hoppers Erosion resistant coating for leading edge protection on wind turbine blades.

Description: Polymeric system specially designed to increase the efficiency of the fluid systems and protection of metals from erosion-corrosion. Approved for contact with drinking water. Application: Impellers for pumps, pump housings, pipelines, valves, water tanks, vacuum pumps, hydroelectric turbines, capacitors, capacitors (see enclosed brochure) Technical parameters : A pack of 5 kg covers 6 m2 when laid in two layers at a thickness of 250 microns per layer.
